About Henderson Equipment
Henderson Equipment was established in 2016. It is a Limited Liability Corporation located in Berks County that buys, repairs and sells lawn, farm and construction equipment. Our service area includes eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey.
Our History
Henderson Equipment, formerly Henderson Engineering, started as a small machine shop in the home garage of Quakertown, PA resident John B. Henderson. John was a self taught machinist who immigrated to the U.S. from Ireland. He was well known in the community as a hard worker and family man. What started as a passion project and side business soon grew into a full-time family endeavor. His most notable accomplishment was developing the first ever pizza dough mixer. He built them for several pizzerias in the Quakertown area.
After John's sudden passing, the family business sadly came to a halt. Thirty years later, his grandson Brad founded Henderson Equipment in his grandfather's honor. Today, the company specializes in agricultural and construction machinery, but it still hasn't lost it's focus on family. Brad runs Henderson Equipment with his wife, Amy.
